Our Key Events & Programs

On 7 March 2014, at Constitution Club, New Delhi, India, On the occasion of International Women’s Day, SRRO organized a National Seminar focused on women's empowerment, gender equality, and the challenges faced by women in contemporary society. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 200 delegates, including social activists, policymakers, scholars, students, and community leaders. The seminar served as a platform for constructive dialogue and shared commitment toward building an inclusive and equitable society for women.

On 8th March 2017, SRRO hosted the prestigious Nari Shakti Awards at the Indian Islamic Culture Centre Auditorium, New Delhi, as part of its Women’s Day celebration. The event was graced by Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Sudarshan Bhagat as the Chief Guest. The program celebrated women empowerment by recognizing outstanding women for their contribution toward social change and also promoted awareness on gender equality, menstrual hygiene, health and education through seminars and community engagement activities.

On 8th March 2020, on International Women's Day, SRRO organized "Samvad: Samaj Mein Mahilaon Ki Bhumika" at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.The event focused on women's role in society and featured discussions on empowerment and equality.Women achievers from various fields were also honored with awards for their significant contributions.Eminent speakers, social activists, educators, and youth participated in the dialogue, sharing insights on women's empowerment, leadership, and gender equality.
