Empowering Communities, Fostering Peace – SRRO’s Commitment to Social Well-being

India is a land of diversity. Our organization constantly works to promote healthy relations among different communities to maintain peace and social harmony. We also promote traditional ways of living and consider joint family as the strength of India. We try to awaken the society towards the same mindset where the family system is maintained. We also organise a number of seminars every year that talks on similar topics.
Along with this, we try making the weaker sections aware of their rights and provide social justice to them. To put it in a nutshell, we try making India a better place to live in.
Kavya Sang Litti Chokha – Navodaya Kavi Gosthi by SRRO
On November 26, 2023, the Social Reforms and Research Organization (SRRO) organized a unique literary and cultural evening titled “Kavya Sang Litti Chokha – Navodaya Kavi Gosthi” in New Delhi. The event beautifully blended the spirit of poetry with the rich flavors of traditional Indian cuisine, offering a soulful experience to all attendees. The gathering brought together emerging and established poets, creating a vibrant platform for artistic expression and thoughtful dialogue. The chief guests of the evening were Mr. Brijesh Rai, a renowned educationist and social worker, and Mrs. Garima Singh, a senior journalist and celebrated news anchor. Their presence added great value to the event, as they shared insights on the importance of literature in shaping societal values and encouraging young voices.
The program was presided over by Mrs. Katyayani Chaturvedi, Vice President of SRRO, who highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote art, culture, and social awareness. The session was smoothly and energetically hosted by Ms. Shikha Srivastava, a poet and social activist, whose anchoring kept the audience engaged throughout.
The poetry session showcased an array of voices from across the country, with themes ranging from love, nature, and patriotism to social consciousness and women empowerment. Each poem was met with enthusiastic appreciation, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and creative energy. Adding a cultural touch to the literary gathering was the traditional Litti Chokha dinner, served after the poetry session. The culinary delight fostered informal interaction among guests, poets, and organizers, turning the evening into a memorable blend of taste and thought.
Through events like this, SRRO continues its mission of nurturing young talent, promoting regional culture, and using literature as a medium to connect and uplift communities.
